CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A minivan crashed into a home on the 600 block of Peachers Mill Rd. around 11:15 a.m. Friday, September 21.
Clarksville police said a woman in her 60s crashed the van into the residence.
The woman was visiting someone at a residential work-site in which a house was under construction. According to police, she accidentally pushed the gas pedal instead of the brake while she was parking the van in a driveway.
The driver had minor injuries. Workers near the crash site were not injured.
Clarksville Building and Codes responded to the scene to inspect the structure.
No citations were issued.
