CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) The second performance in the Southside Summer Nights Concert Series took place Friday evening at the Historic Collinsville Pioneer Settlement on Weakly Rd. in southern Montgomery County.

Featured entertainers were the Queen City Committee made up of six musicians who hail from Clarksville to California and points in between. Band members have toured with Hootie and the Blowfish, opened for Johnny Paycheck, Asleep at the Wheel and New Riders of the Purple Sage.

Close to 100 people filled the hillside near the stage and enjoyed the music along with refreshments in the setting of Historic Collinsville. The Southside Summer Nights Series wraps up August 23 with the multi-talented trio BAM.

Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or a quilt for a 6:30 p.m. start time. The concert will end at 8:30 p.m.
