CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) The Rossview Hawks bring home the Warfield Shield with a big win over the Clarksville Wildcats 42-7. Clarksville didn’t have an answer for Rossview’s offense.
High School Football Scores Week #5
The Hawks had 425 yards of offense on the night.
Clarksville’s only score came in the first quarter. CHS #6 Deonte Northington blocked a punt and #71 Jason Eaton recovered. CHS QB #11 Skyler Luna ran the ball and scored.
Rossview running back #2 Fred Orr had a big night gaining 142 yards on 15 carries, averaging 9.5 yards per carry and 3 touchdowns.
Rossview QB #15 Kole Monson, #44 Jakob Harris and #3 Isaiah Phillips all scored touchdowns.
CHS Principal Jean Luna handed over “The Warfield Shield” to Rossview Principal Schanda Doughty, who then passed it to Hawks coach Ron Lambert and his team.
The team and a large number of the student body crowded the center of the field celebrating and posing for pictures with the shield.
