CLARKSVILLE, Tenn (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Over the weekend, Clarksville’s Riverwalk was filled with games, activities, vendors, food and, of course, music as Riverfest returned for its 32nd year.

Austin Peay’s College of STEM and Google offered various demos and workshops for all ages, including a chance to build and operate drones. The Family Zone offered kids a chance to enjoy inflatables, learn to scuba dive and shoot zombies with the Clarksville Zombie Hunters.

The Cardboard Boat Regatta returned this year with 27 teams competing in a 100 yard race down the Cumberland in boats made from cardboard and duct tape.

Local musicians like Rufus Dawkins, Music 4 Mercy and American Floyd performed original numbers as well as classics. They were followed by this year’s headliner, Montgomery Gentry. Music was not the only entertainment. Clarksville’s dance studios offered a showcase of upcoming competition and recital pieces, and local martial arts studio’s demonstrated their talents.
