CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Ryan, Gretchen, Scott, Nick, and Tiffany from Q108 joined the community for the Empty Bowls Painting Party Thursday, Feb. 9.
Volunteers painted bowls to be donated during a later event, when the bowls will be chosen by participators after a fundraiser meal of soup and bread. These bowls serve as reminders of empty bowls in our community.
Empty Bowls Clarksville supports Loaves & Fishes and Urban Ministries, two non-profit organizations working to feed Clarksville’s hungry.
Tickets for the Feb. 28 fundraiser are $15 and can be purchased online.
