CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A few proud parents of Clarksville’s Class of 2020 seniors came together to celebrate their accomplishments.

Approximately 534 seniors traveled to Hopkinsville’s Bruce Convention Center to participate in the drive-thru celebration on Saturday, June 27, with many bringing family and friends to join in on the fun.

Upon their arrival, seniors were invited to walk the red carpet and have their name announced by former Indiana Colts wide receiver, Troy Albea.

They then received a certificate from Montgomery County Commissioner Jason Knight and had a professional photo taken as well as photos with their families before getting a gift bag full of goodies from the event’s sponsors.

The event was designed to meet the guidelines of social distancing while still providing the fun, recognition, and celebration of graduation.
