CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville’s Department of Parks and Recreation hosted the last Movies in the Park of 2019 on Saturday, October 12, with the 1984 version of “The Karate Kid.”

With plenty of blankets and warm clothes to stave off the cold weather, guests enjoyed pre-show games and activities as well as local food trucks.

Movies in the Park is a free, annual series of outdoor movies hosted by the Parks & Rec department of the City of Clarksville every summer at both Heritage Park and Liberty Park. Families are invited to bring blankets and chairs to enjoy an evening of free fun and entertainment surrounded by nature and the night sky.
