CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW)- The crisp morning air and golden fall sun welcomed the crowd attending the final Clarksville Downtown Market Saturday morning.

The early crowd trickled in as the market opened at  8 a.m., with children and pets in tow. Many were bundled in scarfs and jackets for what felt like one of the first few cool fall mornings this season.

The vendors offered baked goods, fresh produce, farm vegetables and other treats such as eggs, local milk, honey, handmade clothing, decor, woodwork, crafts, seasonal flowers, food trucks and more.

A popular site was the petting zoo where goats,  alpacas, a duck and a potbelly pig, gladly ate food out of ice cream cones held by children.

The Downtown Market is held at One Public Square in Downtown Clarksville and will reopen in Spring 2020. For more information on vendors, or how to become a vendor next season, visit them on Facebook.
