CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) Over 230 runners and walkers come out Saturday night to be a part of the 2017 Deputy Bubba Johnson Memorial 5K Road Race held at Beachaven Winery. The event raises funds for a scholarship in Deputy Bubba Johnson’s name for children of local public safety personnel attending Austin Peay State University.
Deputy Johnson lost his life on January 12 2014 in a vehicle accident while on duty with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
