CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) A crowd estimated at close to 1,500 enjoyed music, food, family activities, vendors, and more at the Clarksville Summer BBQ Festival Saturday at Liberty Park. The entertainment was delayed by rain for a short time but the show went on after the performances were moved inside the Wilma Rudolph Event Center.
The activities were billed as a patriotic event and part of a continuing celebration of Independence Day. Clarksville Mayor Joe Pitts and his wife Cindy were on hand and took the stage to welcome the crowd.
