CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (ESPNCLARKSVILLE) The Clarksville Wildcats played their first game at home Friday against West Creek. It was a pretty sloppy game with lots of penalties on both sides of the ball.
CHS defeated West Creek 28-7.
CHS running back Brevon Johnson scored two touchdowns.
In the 2nd quarter CHS QB Skyler Luna threw a pass to Kmarhie Dix for a touchdown.
West Creek corner back Hunter Laub got an interception at the goal line. The Coyotes rallied down the field and #8 Chris Jhansen scored a touchdown.
CHS RB #3 Josh Watch scooped up a short punt and ran it 20 yards for a touchdown.
CHS defensive back Malik Santiago had two interceptions and a fumble recovery.
The Clarksville Wildcats move to 2-1 and host Springfield next Friday.
The West Creek Coyotes are now 0-3 and play the Northwest Vikings next Friday at West Creek.
