CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) Seven new firefighters for Clarksville Fire Rescue were sworn in during a ceremony Friday at Freedom Point in Liberty Park. Mayor Kim McMillan led them in their oath as new firefighters as Clarksville Fire Rescue Chief Mike Roberts and members of the firefighters families looked on.

Following the ceremony the families watched as the new firefighters suited up and went into what’s known as the burn building for the first time at the Clarksville Fire Rescue’s Station 1 at 802 Main Street.
