CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) The Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce held their 115 Annual Dinner & Gala Tuesday, June 9.  With concerns over COVID-19, the event was livestreamed from the Customs House Museum & Cultural Center.

The gavel was passed by Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce, Keith Bennett to the new Chairman, Paul Turner, at a gathering of mostly Chamber of Commerce staff and those members receiving awards.

Mark Holleman was the recipient of the 2020 Ted A. Crozier, Sr. Community Commitment Award which honors an individual member or organization that showcases the spirit of the community.

 

Dick Batson received the Lifetime Achievement Award which honors and recognizes a member that has shown dedication to the community and his organization.

 

Stephen Hoffmeister was honored as the Ambassador of the Year.  Ambassadors are customer service representatives of the organization that works for business and community interests in Clarksville-Montgomery County.

 

Jessica Goldberg was the recipient of the 2020 Clarksville Young Professional of the Year Award.  Goldberg is focused on professional development with the Clarksville Young Professionals and has volunteered countless hours for the community.

Brigadier General (Retired) Scott Brower was honored with the Boots to Suits Award which recognizes a military veteran who through their professional and personal efforts are making a positive impact throughout the community.

The 2020 GrowCo3 Excellence in Entrepreneurship Award was presented to Beachaven Winery and was accepted by Louisa Cooke.  The Chamber of Commerce thanked Cooke and the Beachaven family for the asset created for the community.
