Oak Grove, KY. (CLARKSVILLENOW) The Association of the United State Army (AUSA) Fort Campbell Chapter hosted the inaugural Guardian’s Gala Thursday at Valor Hall in Oak Grove on Thursday, October 25. Close to 270 AUSA members and supporters turned out for the event which honored some of Fort Campbell’s finest Combat Medics.
Keynote speaker for the gala was retired Four Star General, John Campbell, former Commanding General of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and Fort Campbell.

The medics along with other courageous soldiers were selected through a nomination process by a committee as the best and bravest.
The awards were presented by Major General Brian Winski, Commanding General of the the 101st, retired Four Star General John Campbell and retired Four Star General Carter Ham, President/CEO of AUSA.
