CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – ClarksvilleNow.com and 5 Star Media’s Annual Toy Drive collected over 1,200 toys and $1,000 in monetary donations for several charities to help provide a brighter Christmas for Clarksville area children.

The event was held Friday and Saturday at the Wilma Rudolph Blvd. Walmart.
All toys will go to the following charities in the community:
• Sanctuary
• Centerstone
• Crisis 211
• Flourishing Families
• Big Brothers
• Fort Campbell USO
• Fisher House
The community is asked to donate new, unwrapped toys or make a monetary donation to provide gifts for less fortunate children this holiday season. In years past, the Toy Drive has collected thousands of gifts and raised tens of thousands of dollars for the community.
