CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville hosted its annual Veteran’s Day Program and Parade on Saturday, with over 130 different participants from and around the Clarksville area.

Floats were created by many local businesses and companies, including Austin Peay and its Homecoming Court, Google and its VetNet branch, and well-known local businesses like MISSION BBQ and Fort Campbell’s Express Shopping Centers.

Additionally, several Clarksville-Montgomery County Schools sent their bands and JROTC programs to march in the parade and provide special local entertainment. These schools included Clarksville High, Rossview High, West Creek High, Northeast High, and Montgomery Central High.

Despite the bitter cold that morning, hundreds turned out to honor their veterans and watch the parade take over Downtown Clarksville before heading out to one of the many other events taking place on Saturday.
