Phillip Morris Dycus, age 70, of Clarksville, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2015, at Alive Hospice, in Nashville.
Phillip was born January 24, 1945, in Nashville, TN, to the late Walter Dycus and Nettie Young Dycus. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Judy Read; brother, Chuck Dycus.
Mr. Dycus was a private estimator in the construction industry. He was a US Coast Guard veteran, and a member of the Delta Water Fowl Association, the Disabled American Veterans, the North American Fishing Club, the National Rifle Association, and the Bass Masters. Phillip was of the Baptist faith.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, November 19, at 4:00 PM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Rev. James Trotter officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, November 19, from 1:00 PM until the hour of service, at the funeral home.
Phillip is survived by his son, Glenn (Amy) Dycus of Clarksville; sister-in-law, Beverly (Jerry) Vaughn of Hendersonville, TN; nephew, Kevin (Angie) Dycus of Hendersonville, TN; and great nephew, Gage Dycus.
