CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Keke’s Breakfast Cafe opened just months ago, but in that short time, staff has noticed customers have already begun to make themselves at home.

Jenny Flippen and John Patton told Clarksville Now they opened their doors in May after their corporate team decided to expand their footprint throughout Tennessee. “Our corporate store comes out of Florida, and they started to branch out,” Flippen said. “They didn’t want to franchise here in Tennessee. … So, they opened a couple of stores in the Nashville area, then they wanted to hit this market and here we are.”

Patton said the company from the top down has some of the greatest people he’s ever been in business with. “And I’ve been doing this for a very long time. But it’s just an incredible culture of a people-first environment,” he said.

Flippen said they had planned to be busy, but they have exceeded all expectations. “Everybody that has come through the door has told us, ‘We needed this so bad, and this is so great.’ They really have embraced it and moved it forward,” she said.

Regulars and customer favorites

Patton said they already have developed regulars. “So many people we’ll see two, three, four times a week. So, in a very short time, people have found it as a home,” he said.

As for customer favorites, the standouts at Keke’s are:

  • Chicken and waffles.
  • Eggs Benedict.
  • Cheesesteak omelet.
  • Each choice of stuffed French toast.

In addition to their storefront, Keke’s offers catering services. “We do cater, and we only need one-hour notice. We can cater up to 150 people,” Flippen said. She added that with a little more notice, they can cater for a crowd of more than 150.

Keke’s Breakfast Cafe is open from 7 a.m.-2:30 p.m. seven days a week. The restaurant is at 2276 Trenton Road Suite E. For more information, visit the Keke’s website or call 931-919-6653.
