Peggy Louise Stein, age 75, of Clarksville passed away Saturday, September 24, 2023, at St. Thomas Hospital Rutherford surrounded by her family.
Peggy was born November 2, 1947, in Wilkesboro, NC the daughter of the late Albert T. and Pansy Elizabeth Ashley Porter. She was the manager of Ms. Winters Chicken in Clarksville, TN and she loved her dogs.
She is survived by her husband, Leroy G. Stein; three stepdaughters, Melissa Ann Roberson, Jennifer Louise Drake and Jessica Stein Cook; three brothers, Albert (A.T.) Porter, Jimmy R. Porter and William Porter; three sisters, Melinda Spencer, Debbie Woodie and Frances Burich; nine grandchildren, Jordan Neve (Matt) Greenwood, Jachob Noah Drake, Jensen Noel (Chris) Wilson, Jerrick Nile Drake, Sydney Rae Gregory, Allie Claire Gregory, Chloe Olivia Roberson, Jalaki Drake and Zeeva Drake.
A visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life and burial will be held at a later date in Fleetwood, PA.
