, age 80, of Clarksville, passed away Thursday, September 8, 2016, at her residence.
Peggie was born June 20, 1936, in St. Pauls, NC, to the late Bernice Council and Emma Walters Council.She was also preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.
Memorial service will be held Tuesday, September 13, at 4:00 PM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 13, from 2:00 PM until the hour of service, at the funeral home.
Peggie is survived by her son, Rick (Cathy) Stafford of Katy, TX; daughter, Debbie Stafford of Clarksville; brother, Al Council; two sisters, Dorothy Smith and Jean Edwards; four grandchildren, Ricky (Amanda), Nicole (Matthew), Kevin, and Landry; great grandsons, Jackson, M.J., and Brooks.
