CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Police have released the name of the pedestrian killed after being struck by two cars on Friday as 72-year-old Roger H. Holmes of Clarksville.

On Jan. 31 at around 6:37 p.m., police responded to the crash near 830 Tiny Town Road. Holmes was pronounced dead shortly after police arrived.

According to CPD spokesperson Lt. Charles Gill, preliminary investigation indicates that Holmes was walking along Tiny Town and tried to cross the roadway when he was struck by two passing vehicles. Gill said Holmes was wearing dark clothing without any reflective material.
