CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A pedestrian was hit and killed on the MLK Parkway (Hwy 76 connector) Wednesday in Clarksville.
Police said a Hyundai Sonata driven by a 52-year-old woman was traveling west on MLK Pkwy around 6:05 p.m. as a 35-year-old male wearing dark clothing was walking south across the westbound lanes of the MLK Pkwy near Economy Drive. The man crossed into the path of the Hyundai and was hit.
The 35-year-old man died at the scene. The Hyundai driver was not injured.
No charges have been filed. The lead investigator is Officer Atkins,. Anyone who witnessed the crash can call 931-648-0656, ext. 5136.
