CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A woman died Friday, Jan. 31, after being hit by a car while walking on Tiny Town Road.
At 7:45 p.m., Clarksville Police and emergency workers responded to a 57-year-old woman being hit by a car on Tiny Town Road near Tobacco Road.
A 44-year-old male was driving a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado west on Tiny Town Rd and struck the 57-year-old pedestrian who was standing in the middle of the left westbound lane of Tiny Town Rd.
The woman was transported to the hospital and pronounced deceased.
The driver did not see the pedestrian in the roadway. The area is not well lit and the pedestrian was not in a crosswalk or intersection.
There have been no charges filed.
The lead investigator is Officer Harris.
