CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A 64-year-old man is in critical condition after being hit by a pickup truck on Fort Campbell Blvd.
Police said the man was walking west across Fort Campbell Blvd. from the Oak Haven Hotel Saturday, Dec. 1 around 7:38 p.m. He was wearing a black hat, black coat, and blue jeans.
A white Ford F-150 driven by a 46-year-old man was driving north on Ft. Campbell Blvd. in the left lane. The F-150 struck the pedestrian as he entered the left travel lane.
The victim was taken by ambulance to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in critical condition.
The driver of the F-150 was uninjured.
As of Dec. 2 around 4 p.m., the pedestrian has undergone surgery and is in critical, but stable condition.
No charges have been filed.
