CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A pedestrian was struck on the 41A Bypass near Riverwood Place Monday morning.
Clarksville police said a 61-year-old woman was making a left from Riverwood Place to go north toward Riverside Drive around 6:43 a.m.
A 27-year-old woman was walking across the 41A Bypass from the bus stop toward Riverwood Place when the she was hit while crossing the roadway. There was no crosswalk or traffic signal in the area she crossed.
The 27-year-old was transported by ambulance to Tennova Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries.
At this point, no charges are expected to be filed.
