CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A pedestrian was struck by a car Saturday at around 10:15 p.m. on Dover Road at Walker Circle.
According to Officer Natalie Hall, the pedestrian, identified as 19-year-old John Herdman, suffered severe injuries and was transported to a hospital. He is currently in critical condition at Skyline Medical Center.
The driver of the vehicle, 27-year-old Eugene Neely, was not injured. No charged have been filed.
Traffic was diverted for a time.
This is the second time in three days that someone walking in Clarksville was hit by a car. On Thursday night a woman was killed after being struck on Fort Campbell Blvd.
