Pedestrian critically injured when hit on Providence Boulevard

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A pedestrian was critically injured Saturday night after being struck on Providence Boulevard.

At about 8:10 p.m., the man was hit in the northbound lanes near Sinclair Drive, according to Clarksville Police spokesman Scott Beaubien.

The man was being flown by LifeFlight to Nashville and was in critical condition.

Providence northbound was closed and traffic was being diverted down Sinclair. One southbound lane was open.

“This is causing major traffic issues and CPD is asking the public to find alternate routes until the roadway can be completely cleared,” Beaubien said.
