CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville Gas and Water has planned nightly pavement work on Madison Street between South Tenth Street and Pageant Lane beginning Thursday night through early Sunday morning.
The paving contract workers will close the aforementioned section of Madison Street nightly at 7:00 p.m. and reopen the road at 1:00 a.m. the following morning.
Traffic will be detoured to Pageant Lane and Greenwood Avenue during the work.
Motorists are advised to slow down and be alert to flaggers and directional signs when approaching the work zone or seek an alternate route to avoid traffic congestion.
The pavement work is anticipated to be finished and the road reopened to traffic by Sunday at approximately 1:00 a.m.
