Paul Schwab, 82, of Clarksville passed away Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2023, at his residence.
Mr. Schwab was born Sept. 5, 1941, in Knoxville, TN, to the late Philip Schwab and Dorothy Walcher Schwab.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Mary Roddy Schwab; son, Thomas (Kathy) Schwab; daughter Susan Schwab; and granddaughters Alexa and Lydia Schwab.
Mr. Schwab was a member of the Madison Street United Methodist Church in Clarksville, and a graduate of North Carolina State University. A retired forester, he was happiest when he was outside. His path to happy destiny led him along thousands of miles, offering open arms and unconditional love to the people he encountered, petting just about every dog and cat he could.
A memorial service will be held at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home Saturday, Oct. 21, 2023, at 1:00 p.m., with Rev. Harriet Bryan officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, Oct. 21, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
