GRAND RIVERS, Ky. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – After a major fire broke out in the restaurant on Feb. 5, Patti’s 1880s Settlement is working to rebuild.
The business shared an update on the work via Facebook this week. According to Marketing Director Ann Martin, the original building will have to be torn down and rebuilt.
“As hard as it is to hear this, we do know that it’s something that we’ve got to do. We’re excited about where we’re going from here,” Martin said.
Darren Smith, Project Manager for Pinnacle, Inc., said he and his contracting team hope to have the work finished by later in the fall of this year.
No one was injured during the Feb. 5 fire and Patti’s has assured its employees they will be able to keep their jobs.
Patti’s is a historical log cabin village featuring a restaurant and shops. While the restaurant is under construction, the other attractions at Patti’s remain open for business, including the shops and gardens.
