Our beloved Mother, Patricia H. Mackey, passed away on August 28, 2023. She was born on September 21, 1930, to John and Belle Hebert.
In addition to her parents, Pat is preceded in death by her husband, Calvin O. Mackey and former husband and the father of her amazing children, Ralph E. Black. She is survived by her daughters, Van (Richard) Winhaber and Ashley Black-Warney; son, Kell (Anne) Black; grandsons, Noah (Marshal) Black and Malcolm Black.
Pat was a long-time librarian at the Rochester Public Library in Rochester, NY, before retiring to Ocala, Fl and then moving to Clarksville, TN.
No services will be held per Pat’s request. In lieu of flowers … go read a book!
