Patreva “Pat” Ann Cornell, age 79 of Clarksville, passed away on June 23, 2021.

She was born on October 18, 1941 in Dickson, Tenn. to Luther and Roberta Lewis Parker. Pat was a librarian with the Clarksville Montgomery County School System for 42 years. She worked at Woodlawn Elementary for the first 11 years of her career and retired after 31 years at Montgomery Central Elementary School.

Pat enjoyed attending all types of sporting events and never missed an opportunity to cheer on her sons and grandsons. Not only was she a member of the Red Hat Society, she earned the title of Princess Your Wordiness.

In addition to her husband and parents, Pat is preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Parker. She is survived by her sons, Chris (Stephanie) Cornell and Corey (Jennifer) Cornell; grandsons, Tyler and Zachary and brother, Harold Parker.

A celebration of life service will be Saturday, June 26 at 11 a.m. at Salem Community Church, where she was a member. Pastor Nathan Pearson will officiate. She will be laid to rest next to her husband, Robert Cornell at Salem Cemetery. Her nephews will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 25 from 2 to 7 p.m. at the church and again on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
