CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A parole hearing will be held October 1 for Sharfyne White, who was convicted of committing a series of armed robberies during the spring of 2002 in Clarksville.

On June 7, 2002 after committing one of these robberies White led police in a chase on 101st Parkway. His actions led to the deaths of Officer David Scott and Officer Yamil Baez-Santiago of the Clarksville Police Department.

Officer Scott left behind a wife and four children. Officer Baez-Santiago left behind a wife and two children.

A portion of the 101st was dedicated to the fallen officers in June 2012.
