CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Clarksville Parks and Recreation will host the first Adaptive Fishing Derby Saturday, Aug. 31 at Bel-Aire Pool, located at 124 Marie Drive.
The event is open to children and adults ages 5 and older, with mental or physical disabilities and their families. Attendance is free, and there will be several prizes and giveaways.
Pre-registration is available online at recpro.cityofclarksville.com for the first 50 participants to register in each age group. Those registered will participate at the following times:
• PreK – 2nd grade: 8 a.m.
• 3rd – 5th grade: 9:30 a.m.
• Middle/High School: 12 p.m.
• Adult: 1:30 p.m.
