CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The City of Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department is hosting the “Art on the Park” contest for students in grades 6-12.

Contestants may design their own masterpieces for the chance to paint them on a wall of Heritage Park Skatepark. The winner or winners of the art contest will receive a gift card, their framed artwork and the opportunity to paint their design on a designated wall of the Skatepark.

Entries must be submitted to 102 Public Square on 8″ x 11″ size paper no later than September 12. Name, grade, address, phone number and art teacher should be included on the back. Students may use up to five colors in their artwork. No offensive language, copyrighted material or gang signs, will be permitted.
