CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW)- A few Rossview High School parents came together to host a small prom celebration for their seniors whose proms were cancelled due to COVID-19.

Tracy Hosley, the mother of Janai Hosley of the Rossview Soccer Team, said since prom was cancelled they made up for it with a small celebration.

“We knew our babies  were feeling sad by the turn of events so a group of parents came together and with a lot of support and donations we pulled off a night to remember for some of our outgoing seniors. They had a blast,” Hosley said.

The seniors were able to walk the red carpet and be individually introduced, given goodie bags, take professional photos and dance to the music of a deejay.

The menu was simply fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, green beans and rolls, Hosley said.

For dessert they were served quarantine cake.

The students posed with masks to commemorate the year 2020.
