Clarksville, Tenn. – The Clarksville Home Builders Association hosted their 5th Annual Parade of Homes Awards Kick-off in conjunction with the 4th Annual Parade of Homes on September 25.
In this year’s event, 17 new construction homes were entered by 12 different builders. “We have 17 beautiful homes that are ready for the great turnout that we are expecting with this year’s Parade,” said Jeremy Means, Current President of the Clarksville Home Builders Association.
The homes were grouped together in three categories based on sales price to ensure that each home was judged fairly and with its closest competitors. A team of judges with backgrounds in the real estate, construction and engineering industries assembled on Saturday, September 20th. They toured, evaluated, and rated each of the 17 homes on five different criteria. Those criteria were: Best Curb Appeal, Best Architectural Detail, Best Floor Plan, Best Kitchen, and Best Master Suite. The scores were totaled to determine the Best Overall Winners in each of the three categories.

The Parade of Homes lasts through September 28, and a portion of the ticket proceeds from the Parade of Homes will go to the CMC Education Foundation.
