The Clarksville Lacrosse Club is looking to grow the lacrosse scene in Clarksville, hosting a free clinic for 1st-12th grade boys on July 19 at Civitan Park.

A house was destroyed in a fire on the night of the Fourth of July on Ogburn Chapel Road in west Montgomery County.

On June 20, 2025, two officers from the Clarksville Police Department, Jonathon Heath and Samuel Furgal, graduated from the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy (TLETA).

The City of Clarksville held their annual Independence Day celebration at Liberty Park on Thursday, July 3, along with some help from Montgomery County, who co-sponsored this year’s fireworks display. The event included live music, food, festivities and it closed with a fireworks show.
