CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Someone was robbed and sexually assaulted early Tuesday morning on Peacher’s Mill Road.
Between 1:45 and 2:45 a.m. the victim was walking north on Peacher’s Mill Road between Chum’s Discount Tobacco Store and Kenwood Baptist Church when approached from behind.
The victim told authorities the suspect was a young black male with a slender build in his late teens to early 20s wearing all black clothing consisting of a long-sleeved shirt, pants and a mask covering his face. The suspect brandished a small handgun. After assaulting the victim, the suspect left on foot heading north on Peacher’s Mill Road.
Detectives are asking for anyone with doorbell or security cameras to review the footage to see if anyone fitting the description was walking in the area on Aug. 9 between 1:45 and 2:45 a.m.
