Update, 4:05 p.m.: The outage was caused when a bulldozer struck a utility pole near the new Publix on Trenton Road, according to CDE.

Update, 3:50 p.m.: Power appears to have been restored to almost all homes in the area.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Over 4,000 customers lost power in the St. Bethlehem area Tuesday afternoon.
At 3:40 p.m., there were 4,185 CDE Lightband customers without power in the area between Trenton Road and Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.
“We aware of the outage affecting around 4,000 customers,” CDE reported. “Crews and engineers are working as quickly and safely as possible to get power restored.”
Drivers reported some traffic signals were out in the area. Drivers are reminded that when a traffic signal is out, the intersection becomes a four-way stop.
