CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Over 24 hours later, search efforts are continuing for the 12-year-old boy reported missing Sunday afternoon, in the area of Billy Dunlop Park.

At about 1:45 p.m. Sunday, a father reported that his 12-year-old son was missing and was last seen in Billy Dunlop Park at Big West Fork Creek, according to previous reports.

Multiple agencies are actively involved in the search, including:

  • Clarksville Fire Rescue
  • Clarksville Police Department
  • Montgomery County EMS
  • Montgomery County Dive Team
  • Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency
  • Stewart County Fire Rescue
  • Cumberland Search and Recovery K9 Unit
  • Waterdogs Scuba and Safety

Billy Dunlop Park, Robert Clark Park, and the Clarksville Blueway remain closed until further notice to ensure public safety and to allow search operations to continue.
