CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Project Yesu, an organization that supports orphaned and vulnerable children in Uganda, will host its 4th Annual Orphan Luncheon Sunday, Nov. 8.

Project Yesu was founded in 2011 by Clarksville native Mallory Fundora, who was 11 years old at the time. Mallory is now running two programs on the ground in Uganda, which serve over 600 children daily, and has a staff of six Ugandans. Since starting Project Yesu she has raised over $90,000 to support her programs.

Each year the organization holds an orphan luncheon to raise awareness and funds for these children.

The luncheon will be held at the Belle Hollow event venue, 2231 L Madison Street in Clarksville.

“We are hoping to reach anyone who has adopted, is adopted, is considering adoption, or anyone who wants to come out for a great afternoon and support Project Yesu. We will be focusing on the 3 areas of Foster Care – Adoption – Global Orphan Care,” said Mallory’s mother, Rory Fundora.

Musical guests include: Brio String Quartet of Clarksville, featuring five talented members of the Compton family; Curtis, Mitchell, Alyssa, Tommy, and Trevor; and Becca Bradley Christian recording artist.

There will be door prizes and silent auction items, including signed items by Tennessee Titans, Nashville Predators, and APSU, hand-crafted jewelry, giveaways from local restaurants, autographed items by several Christian artists, and more.

An orphan’s meal will be served to guests.

Tickets are $15 (children 9 and under are FREE) in advance. Tickets will be $20 at the door.

All proceeds from this event will benefit Project Yesu’s work in Uganda.
