CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Local organizations will provide a Thanksgiving meal for those in need of food or fellowship this week.
Manna Cafe Ministries will host its 6th annual Thanksgiving dinner at Burt Cobb Community Center (1011 Franklin Street) on Thanksgiving Day. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. For those who need a ride to the event, Manna Cafe will run shuttles beginning at 4:30 p.m. from their regular meal sites (the Policing Precinct on New Providence Blvd. and the corner of Veteran’s Plaza and Pageant Lane).
The event is free and open to everyone. Volunteers are still needed for clean-up duties; sign up online.
The Well (224 Union Street) will offer a Thanksgiving meal Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Living Word Outreach Ministries (959 Tiny Town Rd.) will deliver hot Thanksgiving meals from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Nov. 26. To place an order, stop by the church or call the administrative office at 931-645-9596 between the hours of 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m.
TURKEY GIVEAWAY Tuesday, Nov. 24 from 6-7 p.m. at Hilltop Supermarket (400 TN-149). Keller Williams Realty and C. Blackwell Construction will give away 50 turkeys to families in need.
