CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Operation Stand Down Tennessee (OSDTN) will host a Career Empowerment Training Workshop from 9 a.m. until noon on Thursday, July 9, 2015 in the Tennessee Career Center located at 523 Madison Street, Suite B.
The free workshop is intended to help veterans to find jobs in a challenging job market, pursue more fulfilling jobs without sacrificing financial security and how to create their own jobs.
The workshop will teach attendees the following:

• Job Searching Problem Solving Strategies
• What are Employers Saying about Job Seekers?
• Job Seekers Assessment
• The Top 50 Job Searching Strategies That Get Results

OSDTN is the only Veteran Service Center in Tennessee recognized by the US Department of Veterans Affairs, according to the website. With a focus on serving honorably discharged veterans, OSDTN has four major components: Veteran Service Center, Transitional Housing Program, Stand Down Events and the Thrift Store.
