CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A duplex in the New Providence area was damaged in a kitchen fire Sunday night.
At about 7:30 p.m., Clarksville Fire Rescue was on the scene of the fire on Church Court, off Power Street. Engine 5 reported arriving to heavy smoke coming from the front door, CFR reported.
An aggressive offensive attack was initiated, and the kitchen fire was quickly brought under control, CFR reported. It was out by 7:48 p.m. and was contained to the unit. No injuries were reported.
The American Red Cross was contacted to assist a displaced adult and her infant. CFR Stations 1, 5, Squad 1, Ops 2, District Chief 1, and Battalion Chief 3 responded.
