MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – One person was killed and three others injured in a crash involving four vehicles on Highway 149 in Montgomery County Monday shortly after 12 p.m.

The victim has been identified as 74-year-old Linda Boren of Tennessee Ridge, TN.

The drivers of two of the vehicles, 20-year-old Jessica Konesky, and 47-year-old Leon Hyndman suffered injuries and one passenger, 48-year-old William Davis was also injured. Another driver, 32-year-old Bastian Borowik and a passenger in one of the vehicles, 20-year-old Dylan Jones, and a juvenile were not injured.

Lt. Bill Miller with Tennessee Highway Patrol said two injured people were transported to a local hospital and one person was taken by LifeFlight to Nashville.

Highway 149 was shut down in both directions between Ussery Rd. and Lewis Ln. through about 4 p.m.

According to a report from Tennessee Highway Patrol, Boren’s vehicle was traveling westbound, crossed the center line, and rear-ended the vehicle driven by Konesky.

Boren’s vehicle then sideswiped a vehicle in the eastbound lane. The fourth vehicle, which was also traveling eastbound, swerved to avoid te crash and was struck head-on by Boren’s vehicle.
