CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – One person has died following a shooting that occurred Wednesday around 10:25 p.m. in the 100 block of Jack Miller Blvd.
According to a news release, Clarksville police responded to a shots-fired call in the area, but the suspect or suspects fled the scene before officers arrived.
The victim has been identified as 30 year old Joshua Simpson. He was flown to Vanderbilt Medical Center where he later died.
The other victim was taken to Gateway Medical Center after being injured while running away from the suspect or suspects.
