CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A shooting that left one dead and another injured Friday night in the College Street area is being investigated by Clarksville Police Department as a homicide, according to a release by CPD spokesman Lt. Charles Gill.
Police responded to a shooting in progress call at 11:02 p.m. on Friday in the area of 9th and Shearor Street. When officers arrived, two male victims were found suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to Tennova Hospital, and one of the victims was pronounced deceased.
Detectives with the Special Operations Homicide Unit and the Crime Scene Team are actively investigating the shooting.
