WOODLAWN, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Two people were killed in a crash on Lylewood Rd. in Woodlawn Friday afternoon just before 5 p.m.

According to a report from Tennessee Highway Patrol, a 2014 Toyota FJC driven by 56-year-old Joseph Barr was traveling northbound on Lylewood Rd. when the vehicle was hit head-on by a Jeep that crossed the center line in the opposite lane.

Officials said the Toyota flipped and came to rest on its side against a utility pole.

The Jeep was driven by a 17-year-old male, who was injured in the crash. The extent of his injuries are unknown.

Joseph Barr and his passenger, 54-year-old Mitzi Barr, were both killed in the crash.

It is unclear if any charges will be filed against the juvenile at this time.
