CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Officers with the Clarksville Police Department met with the community Thursday for lunch at Caprigio’s Pizza for Pizza with Police.

The officers enjoyed lunch, shared conversation, and passed out police promotional items to those who stopped by on Dunlop Lane. Clarksville Police Department Sgt. Johnny Ransdell talked about their visit to Caprigio’s.

“We’re here having a community immersion event where we have asked the pizzeria to invite guests to come and talk to the police officers that are here, and just bring up questions on something they want to know about,” Ransdell said.

Owner Ilona Rivera said this was the second Pizza with Police held at Caprigio’s. The first was just before the pandemic struck, and they hope to continue the event.
